1. He speaks in creation:
"For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made...
Romans 1:20
"For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:"
2. God speaks through His God-breathed Word which is "useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness"
(2 Timothy 3:16-17).
3. He speaks to us through His Holy Spirit, helping us apply Scripture to each situation in our lives (John 14:26).
4. God speaks through other believers who help us live in ways that please God (Titus 2).
5. He speaks through circumstances, opening and closing doors and sometimes using supernatural means
(Acts 16:6-10).
But whenever God speaks, He never, never, never disagrees with Scripture, nor does He lead us down selfish, deceptive, or godless paths.
